The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial robbery that took place at 6:57 p.m. Tuesday, at the Advanced Auto Parts located at 3385 Pio Nono Avenue.
On August 8, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., Deputies arrived on scene at Advanced Auto Parts. It was reported that a male subject entered the business and brandished a firearm at the store clerks, demanding money from the cash register. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the subject fled the store on foot with another subject who was standing at the entrance, waiting outside. No one was injured during this incident.
The suspects were described as two black males. One suspect was wearing all black clothing with a blue shirt on under the jacket. The second suspect was wearing a dark navy hoodie with a white shirt and face covering.
This incident is under investigation.
