The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic accident involving 5-year-old Ma’lijah Seales, who was struck by a vehicle. It was reported that Seales was walking with a relative to a nearby store at the intersection of Millerfield Road and Jeffersonville Road. While at the intersection traveling east on foot, Seales ran into the roadway in front of a 1973 Ford Truck traveling north on Millerfield Road. The truck was driven by 29 year old Devereaux Burnett. Seales was transported to a nearby hospital and later transported the Atlanta Children’s Hospital where she is listed in critical condition.
