Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call of a residential burglary in progress at 5801 Zebulon Road just after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. The home is vacant and the incident was reported by the owner. When deputies arrived they searched the home and found a white male suspect, identified as 50 year old Frank Tripp, in the attic of the home. Tripp was attempting to take copper wiring and other items from the home.
Tripp was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and charged with Burglary and Probation Violation. No bond has been set for Tripp at the present time.
