Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to 5500 Forest Place on Monday, September 14, 2015 just before 1:00PM about a residential burglary. Deputies received information on the way to the address that the homeowner had detained the suspect.
When deputies arrived they found the homeowner with the suspect, identified as 20 year old Andrew Angus Haas of Summersville West Virginia. Haas was caught as he attempted to run from the home. Hass was placed under arrest and taken to the Bibb Sheriff’s Property Investigations Office and later transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Complex. He is charged with Burglary. His bond is set at $8,450.00.
