A Macon man was arrested in connection to a burglary and entering auto investigation of a local business.
On December 26, 2018 Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies responded to the Butler Toyota Collision Center, located at 2122 Eisenhower Pkwy, in regards to someone breaking into numerous vehicles and the business. It was reported that the suspect was caught on surveillance video, riding a “red chopper” styled bicycle. It was reported that the suspect was taking items from the business and then entered numerous vehicles in the parking lot.
Patrol Deputies spotted a male on a bicycle, fitting the description given by investigators. The male was taken into custody, without incident, on a warrant form Jones County Sheriff’s Office.
Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that the male, 20-year-old Cedric Leon Gunn of Macon, was identified as the suspect who entered the business and vehicles located at the Toyota Collision Center.
Gunn was charged with thirteen counts of entering auto and one count of burglary. He is being held in the Bibb County Jail on $23,850 bond.
