The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Burglary and Aggravated Assault incident that occurred in the 2543 North Nancelon Circle just after 4:00 a.m. Saturday morning. It was reported that 27yr old Alburce Green and 26yr old Candace Williams had arrived at Green’s home and found the front door open. Four black male suspects ran out of the house. As the suspects ran out of the house, shots were fired by one of the suspects. Williams was struck in the right arm and side. The suspects ran away on foot. Williams, who was still in her vehicle, drove herself to the Navicent Health Hospital and is listed in stable condition. No one else was injured in the incident.
More information on the incident and suspects will be released as it becomes available. Investigators are still talking with possible witnesses and investigating the incident at this time.
