Bibb County Sheriff‘s Office Investigators were notified that the body of the unknown male has been identified. The male has been identified as 23-year-old Deshazo Kifian Howard, also known as Destin, of Macon.

Investigators are continuing to work this incident.

Public Assistance in Identifying Body Found on Thomaston Road

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators are requesting the Public’s Assistance in identifying a male victim that was found deceased in the parking lot of Reaves Software, located on Thomaston Road.

The victim first appeared to be female but upon further examination was found to be a male. The individual is described as a brown skinned male with long braided extensions that come to his waistline. He has long eyelash extensions, a single diamond stud earring in his ear, a nose ring and his toenails are painted in a French manicure style. He is wearing brown jogging pants, and a gray t-shirt, black slides and two beaded bracelets. The male appears to be in his twenties.

Investigators continue to work this incident and are committed to utilizing the full resources that law enforcement can provide to resolve this case.

Death Investigation on Thomaston Road

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that occurred in the parking lot of 6211 Thomaston Road. The incident was reported to the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at 9:27 a.m., Friday.

It was reported that an individual was found in the parking lot of an empty business. The individual was found to be fatally wounded by gunfire. The identity of the individual is unknown at this time.

The individual was pronounced at the scene by Deputy Coroner Stone. The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
