Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies arrest a suspect in connection with an armed robbery that took place Saturday afternoon. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at around 5:07p.m.

It was reported that a male suspect walked into the Goodwill Donation booth that’s located in the parking lot of 245 Tom Hill Sr. Blvd. The suspect approached the attendant and brandished a firearm. The suspect demanded money from the attendant. Once the male suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the area on foot.

Bibb Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies were in the area, looking for the suspect, when the suspect was spotted on a bicycle. Patrol Deputies followed the suspect to the Metro PCS store, where they made contact with the male. Bibb Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies were able to apprehend the armed robbery suspect and recovered a pellet gun that was believed to be used in the armed robbery.

The suspect, 46-year-old Wallace Johnny Youngblood, was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. Youngblood is being held, without bond, for the charge of Armed Robbery. Wallace also had an unrelated charge of Contempt of City Court.
