On April 10, 2019 just before 01:00pm Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 148 State Street, Alsco in regards to multiple vehicles being broken into since March 28, 2019.
The manager of Alsco showed deputies video of a black male in a white Ford Focus cutting the locks off the backs of vans and removing items from them. The suspect was taking the cleaning supplies from the vehicle that were packed for delivery.
On April 11, 2019 just before 1:00pm patrol deputies were able to locate the suspect parked at the Macon Salvation Army, at 1955 Broadway. The suspect was identified as being 64 year-old Cleveland Nathaniel Hipp, of Macon. Hipp still had some of the stolen items in his vehicle.
Hipp was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with three counts of Entering Auto. He is being held on a $3,900.00 bond at this time.
