The Bibb County Sheriff’s Outreach Section is offering free Defensive Driving Classes during the month of July for teenagers.  The defensive driving class is designed to help teenagers make good, sound decisions on what to do while driving, how to avoid detractions, and how to reduce the number of injuries and crashes that are associated with teen drivers.

To be eligible to attend you must be 15 to 20 years old. A copy of the students valid Georgia Learner’s Permit or Driver’s License is required. The class dates are July 11 thru July 14; July 18 thru July 21; and July 25 thru July 28. Class times are 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Participants must be in attendance each day of the class. The classes will be taught at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Training Facility located at 110 Confederate Way in Macon. Participants must be registered prior to the first day of class.
