The Bibb County Sheriff’s Outreach Section is currently holding registration for C.H.A.M.P.S. (Choosing Healthy Activities and Methods Promoting Safety) Camp. The location for registration is the Bibb County Sheriff’s Outreach Section’s Office located at 2525 Pionono Avenue, in the old Westgate Plaza, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The forms can also be found at www.bcsosos.ga. The forms must be turned into the Sheriff’s Outreach Section Office. To register for camp children must be between the ages of 8 and 14. You must also provide a copy of the child’s birth certificate. Camp dates and locations are June 12th thru June 15th at Weaver Middle School, from 8AM to 2PM, and June 26th thru June 29th at Rutland Middle School, from 8AM to 2PM. Camp capacity for each site is 75 children. Acceptance to camp is on a first come first serve basis. No registration will be done at camp sites. Spaces are still available. The deadline to register for the camps is Friday, June 9, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. There is a $5.00 fee for each camp to cover the field trip on Wednesdays.
