The Bibb County Sheriff’s Outreach Section is currently holding registration for C.H.A.M.P.S. (Choosing Healthy Activities and Methods Promoting Safety) Camp. The location for registration is the Bibb County Sheriff’s Outreach Section’s Office located at 2525 Pionono Avenue, in the old Westgate Plaza. To register for camp children must be between the ages of 9 and 13. You must also provide a copy of the child’s birth certificate. Camp dates and locations are June 6th thru June 9th at Weaver Middle School, from 8AM to 2PM, and June 20th thru June 23rd at Southfield Elementary School, from 8AM to 2PM. Camp capacity for each site is 75 children. Acceptance to camp is on a first come first serve basis. No registration will be done at camp sites. Spaces are still available.
