The Bibb County Sheriff’s Outreach Section is currently holding registration for C.H.A.M.P.S. (Choosing Healthy Activities and Methods Promoting Safety) Camp. The location for registration is the Bibb County Sheriff’s Outreach Section’s Office located at 2525 Pionono Avenue, in the old Westgate Plaza. To register for camp children must be between the ages of 9 and 15. You must also provide a copy of the child’s birth certificate. Registration will end on May 27, 2015. Camp dates and locations are June 1st thru June 5th at Ballard Middle School, June 8th thru June 12th at Appling Middle School, June 15th thru June 19th at Howard Middle School and June 22 thru June 26th at Rutland Middle School. Camp capacity for each site is 75 children. Acceptance to camp is on a first come first serve basis. No registration will be done at camp sites.
