On Friday morning, January 22, 2015, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Special Investigations Unit, with the assistance of the Bibb County Sheriff’s Gang Unit, SWAT Team,  US Marshal’s Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force, Drug Enforcement Agency, Wilkinson County Sheriff’s Office, Jones County Sheriff’s Office, McIntyre Police Department and Bibb County District Attorney’s Office served arrests warrants on 14 individuals stemming from an investigation that lasted several months involving the distribution of illegal drugs (Cocaine and Marijuana) in Bibb County, Jones County and Wilkinson County.

The Bibb County Special Investigations Unit initiated an investigation in June of 2015 after receiving information that Jarvis Gilmore was distributing illegal drugs from his residence in east Macon.  The investigation revealed that Javares Simmons was conspiring with Gilmore in distributing illegal drugs from his residence in north Macon. All other individuals arrested Friday morning were also involved, according to investigators.

All of the arrests Friday morning were made without incident. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank all the agencies involved with the assistance in the investigation and arrests.

Jarvis Gilmore – 28 YOA – Macon – Sale of Cocaine, Damaging or Destroying or Secreting Property to Defraud Another, Insurance Fraud, False Report of a Crime

Lorraine Gilmore – 37 YOA – Macon – Use of a Communication Device to Commit a Felony Involving Controlled Substances, Sale of Cocaine

Landrous Rainey – 33 YOA – Macon – Use of Communication Device to Commit a Felony Involving Controlled Substances, Sale of Cocaine

Everette Simmons – 42 YOA – Macon – Use of Communication Device to Commit a Felony Involving Controlled Substances, Sale of Cocaine, Probation Violation

Javares Simmons – 36 YOA – Macon – Use of Communication Device to Commit a Felony Involving Controlled Substances, Sale of Cocaine

Nicrosia Gibson – 33 YOA – Macon – Use of Communication Device to Commit a Felony Involving Controlled Substances, Sale of Cocaine

Shonerique Adams – 39 YOA – Macon – Use of Communication Device to Commit a Felony Involving Controlled Substances, Possession of Cocaine
