Bibb County Sheriff’s Office received a call at 10:42am in reference to an abandoned vehicle located behind a home at the 3500 block of Log Cabin Drive. When deputies and investigators arrived they were able to determine that the burned – out Saturn Vue was the vehicle that was used in Prakafh Patel on June 18, at the Sunoco gas station located at 3306 Bloomfield Drive.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Is Asking For Public’s Assistance In Locating Vehicle Used In Homicide And Armed Robbery At Convenience Store

Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators are asking for the Public’s Assistance in locating a 4-door 2008 Saturn Vue, charcoal gray in color. The vehicle has clear tape on the trunk and was last seen displaying a Georgia License Plate, PSH3378.

The vehicle is wanted in connection to the Murder and Armed Robbery of 40 year old Prakash Patel, who was fatally shot during the armed robbery of the Sunoco Gas Station and Convenience Store located at 3306 Bloomfield Drive, early Saturday morning. The vehicle was taken in a carjacking that occurred on Friday night at around 10:45p.m. from the Reliance Food Mart at 3590 Mumford Road.  The victim was not injured in that incident.
