The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Outreach Section will be hosting “Santa in the Park” on Thursday December 22, 2016 at Filmore Thomas Park, located at 3793 Log Cabin Drive. The time for the event is 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event is free and open to children ages 4 to 15 years old that live in Bibb County. Children will be registered the morning of the event at Filmore Thomas Park. Residents wanting to register their children need to bring with them proof of residency in Bibb County, such as a current utility bill. Once registered, the children will receive an armband to receive a toy from Santa. The armbands are limited.
