The Bibb County Sheriff’s Outreach Section is hosting a Citizen’s Gun Class on Monday, February 19, 2024, at our Sheriff’s Outreach Office at 774 Hazel Street from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Tuesday, February 20, 2024, class will be at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Training Facility located at 1166 Jackson Street from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Citizens that attend the class will learn about gun safety, and current gun laws and will also have an opportunity to fire their handgun. Students must be age 21 or older, must have their own firearm and ammunition and legally able to own a firearm.
