Bibb County Sheriff Deputies responded to a call just after 5:30 p.m. in the 3800 block of Travis Blvd., in reference to a male stabbing victim. When Deputies arrived they made contact with a 46-year-old male that was suffering from a stab wound to the upper arm.
It was reported that the two men involved in the incident are neighbors. Both men were arguing about 55- year-old Steve Fort Sr., trespassing in another neighbor’s yard. It was reported that Fort retrieved a knife during the argument and stabbed the victim. Fort was transported to Investigations to be interviewed.
After the interview Fort was transported to the Bibb Law Enforcement Center and charged with Aggravated Assault. The victim was transported to the Navicent hospital by ambulance ,his injury is non- life-threatening.
