Bibb County Sheriff Deputies responded to a call at 2760 Montpelier Avenue, M&M Groceries just after 5:24 p.m., in reference to a male shot. When Deputies arrived they made contact with 61-year-old Ricky Wyche of Macon.
It was reported that Wyche and his nephew were involved in a verbal argument inside M&M Groceries. Wyche’s, nephew then walked outside, pulled out a gun and shot into the store striking Wyche in his face. The 16-year-old male was transported to the RYDC and charged with Aggravated Assault. Wyche was transported to the Navicent hospital by ambulance, his injuries are non- life-threatening.
