Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies answered a call of a deceased person found at a home in the 600 block of Bowman Street at around 11:00 a.m. this morning. It was reported that a neighbor contacted the manager of the homes and told her that she had not spoken to her neighbor in about a week. She asked the manager to check on her neighbor. When the property manager arrived, she entered the home and found the resident, a 63 year old female, unresponsive in a bedroom of the home.
The victim appeared to have a cut to her neck. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The Bibb County Coroner’s Office is attempting to notify the next of kin. No other information is being released at this time.
