The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred just after 7:00 pm Sunday evening. Deputies responded to the Navicent Health Medical Center in regards to a person being brought in with a gunshot wound. Upon arrival they found a male with a gunshot to the left side of the back. The victim was identified as 18yr old Dakwaun Tyre Faulks, of Macon. Faulks was pronounced deceased by Navicent staff. It was reported that Faulks was driven to the Navicent Med Center by private vehicle. The next of kin has been notified. No one else was injured during the incident. There is no suspect or incident location information at this time. Additional information will be released as soon it becomes available.
