The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Financial Crimes Unit is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for Financial Transaction Card Fraud incidents that occurred on November 29, 2015. The suspect is approaching customers at service stations that are paying cash for gasoline. The customer is solicited into giving the suspect cash. In exchange the suspect will put double the amount of gas in the vehicle using fraudulent credit cards.

The suspect is described as a black male with a goatee and mustache. In the picture taken from one of the stores surveillance video, he is wearing a gray and black shirt. Investigators are also looking for a silver 4-door Nissan Altima, driven by the suspect.

Anyone with information in reference to the identity and whereabouts of the suspect  is urged to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 and ask to leave a message for the “on-call” property investigator or call Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
