The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspects involved in the armed robbery and shooting of an employee at the Family Dollar Store, located at 160 Emery Highway. The incident occurred at around 9:15 a.m. this morning.

In addition to the suspect listed in the initial release, a second suspect is also being sought. The second suspect is described as a slim black male. He was wearing a black fleece hoodie and dark pants. It was reported that this suspect and the suspect wearing the camouflaged jacket appeared to walk up the side walk together and stood outside the store for a few minutes. The suspect in the camouflaged jacket entered the Family Dollar while the suspect in the black fleece hoodie stood just outside the door.

A photograph from the store’s surveillance video of the suspect that entered the Family Dollar is attached. Also attached are photographs from the CVS Pharmacy surveillance video of both suspects standing outside the store just before the incident. The CVS is next door to the Family Dollar Store.
