The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate a missing person. It was reported that 47-year-old Freddie DeWayne King was last seen by his friend on April 15, 2022. Bibb County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies checked several areas that King was known to frequent. King was seen by patrol deputies, walking down an embankment, near the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail, while attempting to locate him on April 25, 2022.
King was reported to be homeless and have some mental health issues. Friends and family are still concerned that they have not had any contact with King and are requesting assistance in helping locate him.
Freddie DeWayne King is a black male that is around 5’11 inches in height and has a weight listed at 300lbs. King was reported to have lost a lot of weight, so he may be smaller in size.
