The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate a missing person. On August 31, 2017 a missing person report was made by Trisha Smally of McMinnville Oregon. The report was made in reference to 37 year old Luke Earl Smith. According to Smally, Smith was leaving Georgia on August 4, 2017 and traveling to McMinnville Oregon. The last time Smith was heard from was by an uncle on August 3, 2017. Relatives are not sure what type of vehicle Smith was traveling in to Oregon. McMinnville Police Department had also been contacted.
A lookout was placed on Smith the day of the report and his information was entered into the National Crime Information Center and Georgia Crime Information Center as a missing person. Smith is a white male, 5’11” in height and weighs approximately 193 pounds.
