The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate a missing child. Just after 11:00 p.m. Thursday night, deputies responded to a residence in the 2100 block of Adams Avenue in reference to a missing 11-year-old male.

It was reported that the child attended Ballard Middle School and did attend all classes today. Once school was dismissed the child never met with his siblings to walk home. Once it was noticed that he did not arrive home, all locations that he could have possibly gone to were checked. Deputies were then called. Deputies are currently in the area searching for the child.

The child’s name is Jaymez Wilburn. He is a black male, described as being approximately 4 feet and 11 inches in height and weighing around 87 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a Burgundy polo shirt, blue jeans, Burgundy, black and white Nike shoes, and a blue jacket. Jaymez is reported by the family to be autistic.
