The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a suspicious package at the Child Network Daycare, located at 3940 Northside Drive, just after 9:15 a.m. Wednesday morning. After throwing the box, he ran back to the vehicle and fled in the vehicle, westbound on Northside Drive towards Forest Hill Road.

All of the children were immediately evacuated by employees at the daycare center. The children and employees have been moved to a safe location. Any parents coming to pick up their child is asked to come to 3902 Ashley Woods Park which is on Ashley Woods Drive, off of Northside Drive. The children are on two buses with daycare employees and are safe.
