The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and Macon-Bibb County Fire Department is investigating a suspicious death. Bibb County Sheriff’s Office received a call just before 3:00 p.m. of a burned body found inside 3510 Flamingo Dr. Patrol deputies and Fire rescue responded to the residence. Once on scene deputies found a deceased male in the bathtub in the rear of the home. The home had recently caught on fire on March 16, 2019. It has not been determined if the male is a possible casualty of the fire from that date. The male was pronounced deceased on the scene, by the Bibb County Coroner’s Office.
This incident is being investigated as a suspicious death until a cause of death can be determined.
The males identity and cause of death is pending autopsy.
