The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident involving shots fired in the 600 block of Pionono Avenue that occurred at around 3:00a.m. this morning. Two Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies were inside the District 3 office when they heard several gunshots outside. The shots seemed to come from the front of the building which faces Pionono Avenue.
When the deputies went to investigate they saw a dark colored, possibly red, older model Ford Mustang speeding away from the area with its lights off. It is not clear at this time as to what direction the suspect(s) were shooting. No further information is available at this time.
