Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a person shot just after 9:30 p.m. Wednesday night at 3721 Atwood Drive. It was reported by one of the occupants of the home that three males came to the house looking for the victim who was identified as 22 year old Shaquille Stallworth. The female that answered the door told the men that Stallworth was not there. She closed the door and went back about her business in the house. Moments later, she stated, a male came to the door and Stallworth answered the door. The suspect described only as a black male, armed with a gun, demanded Stallworth’s phone. Stallworth was closing the front door when he was shot once.
Stallworth was transported to the Navicent Health Hospital with a single gunshot wound. He was alert and responsive at the scene. He is listed in stable condition.
