Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies were called to the Navicent Center just before 11:30 p.m. Saturday night in reference to two persons coming to the hospital with gunshot wounds.

 

Zonderius Fort, 18 years old of Macon told deputies he was walking from The Park at Edna Place Apartments. As he approached the corner of Pio Nono Ave and Montpelier Ave a gray car with four black males fired shots at him and then drove off. Fort was struck in the right leg. He told deputies he called a family member who drove him to the hospital. 

 

Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators went to the hospital to speak with Fort. He told the investigator he was shot near a business near Pionono Avenue at Montpelier Avenue.

 

The second shooting victim Gabriel Jackson, 25 years old of Macon told investigators he was at a house at Winship Street when shots were fired into a house. Jackson was unwilling to give an address to the incident location. Jackson was struck in the right hand. Jackson advised investigators he was driven to the hospital by a family member. Jackson was not very cooperative with investigators.

 

Both Fort and Jackson are listed in stable condition. No description is available of the suspects in both incidents at the present time.
