Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Shooting Incident In West Macon
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that occurred Saturday morning at 4334 West Highland Drive, Shadowood West Apartments. Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the address at around 5:40AM. It was reported that 22 year old Wesley Alectus Jr. was handling a handgun inside the apartment when the gun fired, striking Alectus in the head.
There were two other people in the apartment at the time of the incident that live there. It was reported that Alectus, who is from South Carolina, was visiting a friend that lived at the apartment. Alectus was transported by ambulance to the Navicent Health Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
