The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that was reported to have occurred at the corner of Pebble Street and Shaw Street, just before 8:30 p.m.
Deputies responded to the area regarding reports of a person shooting a gun on Pebble Street. When deputies arrived, they found a black male laying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the head. It was reported that there was an altercation between neighbors and during the altercation one subject pulled a pistol and shot the other. The 37-year-old black male victim was taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center for treatment, he is listed in critical condition at this time.
Deputies detained 36-year-old Teondrious Deon Johnson, of Macon, shortly after the shooting happened. Johnson was taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigations building for questioning. Johnson was then taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Aggravated Assault.
