The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that was reported to have occurred in the area of Hillyer Avenue and Beech Avenue. Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the Navicent Health Center at around 9:21pm Friday night in reference to three people shot. The three victims had been driven to the hospital by third parties in personal vehicles.
The three victims, all from Macon, had just walked from the basketball courts located on Hillcrest Avenue. As they were walking in the area of Hillyer Avenue and Beech Avenue, they heard gunshots. Jacques Stewart, 18 years old, was struck on his left arm. Ta’darrius Berrian, 18 years old, was struck in the right leg and Ja’Corey Meadows, 17 years old, was struck in the chest. All three victim’s injuries are non-life threatening and they are listed in stable condition.
