Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Coliseum Hospital at 350 Hospital Drive Thursday afternoon at around 4:45 p.m. in reference to a male that came in with a gunshot wound. The victim was identified as 22 year old Anthony Seabrooks.
It was reported that Seabrooks was at Clinton Road and Washburn Drive when he saw a friend of his and told him he had been shot and he needed him to take him to the hospital. Seabrooks’s friend reported hearing gunshots as he was walking through the Triangle Food and Gas, located at New Clinton Road and Millerfield Road, prior to seeing Seabrooks. Seabrooks was taken to the Coliseum Hospital by the friend. He is listed in stable condition.
Investigators are currently investigating the incident. No evidence of the shooting occurring where Seabrooks described was found. No further information is available at this time.
