Bibb Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies responded to the Medical Center Navicent Health this morning just before 2:30AM about a person that had come into the hospital with a gunshot wound. It was reported that 35 year old Tod Freeman, of Macon was a passenger in a vehicle traveling on Cynthia Avenue when the incident occurred. Freeman told deputies he saw a large group of people at a block party and an unknown black male approached the vehicle after the male yelled “rude comments” at him. He stated he was shot in the arm by the unknown male. The driver of the vehicle Freeman was traveling in told deputies that the black male was standing in the middle of the road prior to the shooting. The clothing description on the suspect from Freeman was a white t-shirt with a grey and black ball cap. The driver of the vehicle described the clothing as a black t-shirt, jeans and an unknown colored ball cap. Freeman is listed in good condition and is stable.
