Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 200 Cherry Street ,Terminal Station in reference to a report of a person shot just before 7:30 a.m. When deputies arrived they found the victim, a black male outside the terminal station with multiple gunshot wounds.
It was reported that the victim and another man were involved in an altercation resulting in the victim being shot.
There is no information available at this time on the description of the suspect. The victim was transported to a local hospital by ambulance where he is being treated for his injuries. The victim’s name will be released once family is contacted.
During this incident a vehicle was passing the terminal station when it was struck by the gunfire. No one in the vehicle was injured.
