The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at 9:38 p.m., Thursday night, at 1187 Edna Place, The Summit apartments. It was reported that Pizza Hut delivery driver Nycholas Easterling, had just finished delivering three pizzas to an apartment unit.
After leaving the apartment and returning downstairs Easterling stated, two suspects approached him. A suspect pointed a handgun at the back of Easterling’s head and demanded money. The victim stated he threw his wallet on the ground along with twenty dollars cash, but asked the suspects if could he have his wallet and identification back. Easterling stated the suspects then gave him his wallet, with his ID back to him. The two suspects fled the scene before deputies arrived.
One suspect is described as being tall and slender with short dreadlocks and wearing a camouflage jacket. There is no description of the second suspect with the handgun.
