The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a personal armed robbery that took place at around 6:00 a.m. Tuesday morning at 1551 Winston Drive. It was reported that the 60 year old female victim had left the home earlier and had just returned home when two black males approached her outside, from behind her home.
One of the suspect’s was armed with a handgun. The suspects demanded money from the victim and she gave them the money from her purse. Once the suspects took her money they ran away in an unknown direction.
The suspects were described as one male being short and the other tall. Both were young and had something that appeared to be black covering their faces. No other information was available at this time. The victim was not injured during the incident.
