Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a resident hearing gun shots in the 4600 block of Elkan Ave. at around 4:30 a.m. Monday morning. When deputies arrived in the area they located a grey Nissan Cube stopped in the roadway at the corner of Elkan Ave and Charlene Ave. They also found 33yr old Andrea Bonner of Macon in the car with a gunshot to the left hand. He was transported to the Navicent Center Hospital where he is listed in stable condition. Bonner told deputies he was riding with a black male in the vehicle and that the male shot him during an altercation. No one else was injured in the incident. No other suspect information is available at this time.
