Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence located in the 800 block of Newberg Avenue just after 11:30pm Sunday night in reference to a person shot. It was reported that 18 year old Arquallis Coger was walking west on Newberg Avenue when he heard several gun shots and started running. Coger discovered he had been shot in the upper chest and hand. Coger was transported to a local Hospital where he was treated. He is listed in stable condition.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators are looking into the incident. The victim reported two different accounts of the incident. No further information is available at this time.
