Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a person shot at around 12:40 p.m. Monday afternoon at the Chambers Cove Apartments located at 204 Chambers Cove Drive. As deputies were responding to the scene, additional information was received that the victim had been driven to the Walmart located at 6020 Harrison Road.
Deputies found the victim, 34 year old Antonio Davis at the Walmart with the person that had driven him there. He was transported by ambulance to the Navicent Health Hospital with a gunshot wound to the right side of his body. It was reported that Davis was shot outside of building 302 at the apartment complex. Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators are currently talking with possible witnesses to determine what occurred prior to and at the time of the shooting and gather information on a suspect or suspects involved. Davis is listed in stable condition at this time. More information will be released when it becomes available.
