Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators are investigating the shooting incident of a 69-year-old male inside of a home in the 7500 block of Bethel Church Road, just after 8:30 pm.
It was reported that the 69-year-old male was involved in an altercation with another male, resulting in him being shot. The male victim was pronounced dead on the scene by the Coroner’s Office. The name of the victim will be released once the next of kin has been notified.
The circumstances surrounding this incident is being investigated. Investigators do have a person of interest in custody.
