The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a person shot that occurred on Ibex Street, just after 5:00 p.m. Deputies responded to the location and found a male with a single gunshot wound to his head.
The male was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified as 62-year-old Wille Green Smith Jr. At this time investigators have a person of interest in custody.
