Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 3752 Walker Avenue just before 2:00 a.m. Thursday morning in reference to a report of a person shot. When deputies arrived they found the victim, 18 year old Xavier Sanders, with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
It was reported that Sanders was inside his residence at 3752 Walker Avenue when he heard gunshots outside. One of the rounds that hit the house also struck Sanders. He was transported to the Navicent Health Hospital and is listed in stable condition. No other information is available at this time.
