Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 5950 Bloomfield Road just before 1:00 a.m. Thursday morning in reference to a person shot. Darius Rozier, 25 years old, of Macon was shot once in the chest.
It was reported that Rozier was standing on the front porch of this residence when he was approached by a black male and female. After a brief conversation the black male demanded money from Rozier. Rozier attempted to run and was shot by the male suspect. The male suspect could only be described as being short and dark skinned, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt. The female was wearing a black in color jumper with a red hoodie with white stars on the sleeves and front of the hoodie. The suspects fled the scene in a red in color two door Honda. Rozier is listed in critical condition.
