Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 2760 Montpelier Avenue, M&M Food Store in reference to a person reported shot. When deputies arrived they found 22 year old Larry Bryant Jr. inside the store with a gunshot wound to his backside. It was reported that Bryant was crossing Montpelier Avenue in front of the store when he heard some gunshots and was struck. He did not see anyone shooting. After being shot Bryant walked in the store and stayed there until deputies arrived.
Bryant was transported to the Navicent Health Hospital to be treated for the wound. The injury is not life threatening and he is listed in stable condition.
