Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators are investigating the death of an infant that occurred Tuesday afternoon. Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators were called to the hospital at 4:41 p.m.
It was reported that a nine-month-old was traveling in a vehicle with its Mom and two other siblings throughout the day. When they arrived home, the infant was found to be unresponsive.
Paramedics were called to the residence and transported the nine-month-old to the hospital. The baby was later pronounced deceased. An autopsy is scheduled to be performed to determine the cause of death.
