The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred at 691 Poppy Avenue just before 4:00a.m. Thursday morning. It was reported that two black males wearing masks entered the residence with firearms. During an altercation with the suspects, 37yr old Marcus Dewayne Braswell was shot in the head. Braswell was pronounced dead at the scene by the Bibb County Corner Leon Jones and next of kin was notified.
The suspects left the scene in an unknown direction. No other information is available on the suspects at this time.
