The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred in the 2800 block of Elpis St, just before 2:00a.m. Thursday morning. Deputies responded to a person lying in the road way of Elpis St. between Grasso Ave and Lilly Ave. Upon arrival they found a black female lying in the road with multiple gunshots. The victim was identified as 26yr old Jamarta Chennelle Clark of Macon. Clark was transported to the Navicent Health Medical Center. Clark was pronounced deceased by Navicent staff. The next of kin has been notified. The suspect had already fled the scene before Deputies arrived. No one else was injured during the incident. There is no description on the suspect.
